VDCC Community Meetup: A Look Back at Data Center and AI Infrastructure Trends – Workshop No.4
On the morning of August 14, the Vietnam Data Center Community (VDCC) held a community meetup at Siha – The Happy Place. The gathering is part of VDCC’s ongoing efforts to create space for members, partners, and anyone interested in Vietnam’s data center industry to connect, stay updated, and exchange ideas in person.
Unlike larger conference-style events, this meetup kept things intimate and conversational, giving members room to ask speakers questions directly and build relationships beyond the formal presentations.
Program Overview
The morning opened with VDCC’s activity report, covering the community’s organizational structure and upcoming plans. What followed were four sessions built around some of the most pressing topics in the industry today.
Session Highlights
PMX Vietnam opened with a practical look at containerized data center trends, showing how modular deployment models are changing how fast infrastructure can be rolled out in Vietnam — a shift becoming more urgent as demand for AI infrastructure accelerates.
Georg Fischer Vietnam followed with a session on engineered liquid flow solutions built specifically for AI Data Centers (AIDC), a topic that keeps growing in relevance as compute density in AI-serving data centers pushes cooling requirements to new extremes.
Victaulic brought a technical perspective on new coupling solutions for modular building installation — a piece of the data center build process that’s critical but rarely gets much attention.
The session members seemed to look forward to most was the Q&A on liquid cooling, led directly by VDCC Chairman Bui Quang Xuan. It gave members a space to raise the real, on-the-ground questions they run into during deployment and operations — from technology choices to long-term cost and maintenance trade-offs.

More Than Just Technical Content
Beyond the technical sessions, the meetup gave VDCC members — data center operators, solution providers, and individuals working or exploring careers in the industry — a chance to meet face-to-face, grow their network, and build connections that extend well past the event itself.
VDCC extends its sincere thanks to all members, guests, and speakers from PMX Vietnam, Georg Fischer Vietnam, and Victaulic for taking the time to join and contribute to this meetup. The turnout and the conversations that came out of it are what make this community what it is.
VDCC will continue hosting gatherings and knowledge-sharing sessions in the months ahead, including the special participant from VDCC’s memebers at upcoming Vietnam Cloud & Datacenter Convention (VNCDC) 2026 on August 20 at La Scala Ballroom, The Reverie Saigon.
